The Los Angeles Chargers have said “No More!” and have cleaned house! The team has fired GM Tom Telesco, HC Brandon Staley, DL coach/run game coordinator Jay Rodgers. LBs coach Geff Smith will act as the interim Head Coach, and JoJo Wooden will be the teams’ Interim GM. Staley went 24-24 as the Bolts head coach and did not impress at all with a star studded defense and talented offense. The team looks incredible on paper, but have played poorly on the field, respect to several players, but overall not looking good.
The Cleveland Browns have signed 38 year-old veteran QB Joe Flacco to a one-year deal. Flacco has emerged as a real threat and given the Browns life late in the season. He has tossed for 560 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 2 INT’s in two games as the teams starter.
The Carolina Panthers are placing tight end Hayden Hurts on season-ending IR, due to amnesia and concussion symptoms. Hurst could and should really consider retirement.
The Buccaneers have waived former 3rd round draft pick RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn. He has rushed 24 times this season for 42 yards (1.8 YPC) while adding 2 receptions for 2 yards. At 26 years old, he still has a shot to play somewhere else, and has averaged 3.7 YPC over his 4 season career.
